Inspired by one of Australia’s great feathered characters, Little Corella is a gloriously fluffy white feather teaser with plenty of movement, flutter and sparkle to tempt curious paws.

Little Corellas may look angelic dressed entirely in white, but anyone who has met a flock knows better. These cheeky members of the cockatoo family gather in enormous, noisy crowds, swing upside down from branches and powerlines, chatter endlessly to their mates and have an impressive talent for turning perfectly respectable trees into renovation projects.

They’re even known to congregate on country roads, seemingly waiting until the very last moment before deciding that perhaps moving out of the way of an approaching vehicle might be a good idea.

In other words, perfect inspiration for a cat toy.

Little Corella combines an exuberant tumble of soft white feathers with shimmering strands that flash and flicker as the toy moves. The sparkling black and rhinestone detail, white beads and pearly wand add just enough Pritti Kitti finery to our little bush larrikin.

Wave, flutter and dart it through the air to encourage those wonderful natural stalking, chasing and pouncing behaviours.

Little Corellas are sometimes called the cheeky clowns of the parrot world, and it isn't difficult to see why. Acrobatic, social, incredibly vocal and apparently convinced that life should never be taken too seriously, they bring a great deal of personality wherever they gather.

Little Corella brings a little of that noisy Australian spirit indoors... thankfully without several hundred friends arriving to screech from your roof.

Care
Feather toys are made for wonderfully enthusiastic play, so a little wear and tear over time is perfectly natural.
Before each play session, give your teaser a quick check. Gently inspect the feathers and attachment points and remove any feathers that have become loose, broken or damaged. If a feather is only slightly out of place but still firmly secured, it can usually be left to continue its important cat-entertaining duties.
Natural feathers may become ruffled, bent or a little bedraggled after vigorous play. This is part of their charm and does not necessarily mean the toy needs replacing. However, if the feather bundle, wire, cord or attachment becomes damaged or insecure, please discontinue use.
Always supervise your cat while playing with feather teasers and store the toy safely out of reach when playtime is over. Feather teasers are interactive toys and are not intended to be left with your cat for unsupervised chewing or play.
