Handmade Australian Bush Bird Feather Teaser

Pretty in pink, noisy by nature and occasionally a few feathers short of a full nest, Ya Flamin' Galah is inspired by one of Australia's most familiar bush characters.

Soft grey rooster feathers surround long, sweeping pink feathers, capturing the unmistakable colours of the Australian Galah. Designed to flutter, dart and dance through the air, the different feather lengths create enticing movement to encourage your cat to stalk, leap, chase and pounce.

Each teaser is individually handmade by me in Queensland, with its own combination and arrangement of natural feathers, so no two will ever be quite identical.

Galahs are social birds that love gathering in noisy flocks across Australia's open country and drier regions. They're beautiful, entertaining and full of personality, although anyone who's driven a country road has probably yelled at one to GET OFF THE BLOODY ROAD!

And that's how Ya Flamin' Galah earned its name. 😂
